This weekend Jenny (my wife) me, and Kaya (the dog) went to wyoming to do some camping. We go to camp at a great spot. Even though it was a state campground with people crowding all the good sites we found one that was somehow hidden and perfect. It looked over the Glendo reservoir

Its hard to tell where our site was because the water is about 20 feet higher this year.
We could walk down to the water and sit with our feet in it. Kaya loved it. All she wanted to do was swim and chase sticks and partially submerged trees, and she did for at least an hour and a half. But she paid for it…she is the sorest dog i have ever seen and her feet got cut up on the rocks so she’s just limping around.
The next day I got to ride my friends ATV and Jen got to take a helicopter ride. Just a couple benefits of being in the company of good friends with nice toys.
So in summery good weekend.
Pictures to be posted soon.
Well after 9 years the sopranos are finished…I will catch the last episode tonight, I have only been involved for the last 4 years but, I have a lot of time invested in it.
The end of the series seems very dramatic for me because with it I also end ohio as my dwelling place. I have been thinking a lot about what I am going to miss about living here(ever since Shalom asked me, “what will you miss about Ohio” and I want to put it down when I come up with all the things. This place has been a setting for a lot of change and growth in my life. I am just hopeful that Colorado will bring with it lots of growth as well.
P.S. Thanks matt and grace for letting me crash on your couches last weekend.
Wednesday, me ben and matt jumped on airplanes to NYC. After finding matt(he took a different airline to NY) we awkwardly navigated to John B.s apartment in the Bronx’s loaded up on caffeine again, and headed to Manhattan.
We spent some time in the Strand(18 miles of books) and headed home after almost falling asleep in big expensive church. John B. took us to an amazing blue grass jam session, where sheriff bill ran the show.
After a couple hours of sleep we headed to China town for a 4 hour bus ride to Boston. In boston we got smarter in the Harvard books store, drank beer at the cheers bar, and played a killer game of gin in starbucks by the Boston public garden, and walked around fenway park. We saw the Frech Kicks play that night till 1:15am took a taxi to south station, and got a 2:00am bus back to NYC, ben and I spent the day getting our hearts broken in the airport by full flights and broken airplanes and matt slept in NYC till he came home the next day.
Total sleep=6 hours, Travel distance=1500 miles by air and bus.
Travel Time (Takeoff to Land)=60 hours, Subway Tickets=11
Getting my bag packed with 2 pairs of socks, 1 Shirt, My Nikon, My iPod(loaded with subway maps) and My Dumas Book. I hope to have some awesome pictures at the end. See you soon…
The next couple of days I will be preparing myself for a little trip. We will head for New York City to spend some time perusing the cities dark alleys and sucking down many americanos. After a day of hanging out at Paul’s Boutique, we will take a early bus to Boston. When we have had our fill of beans and Clam Chowder the French Kicks will light our moods and get us pumped for the red eye bus back to NYC. Shortly after arriving I will return to CBus and go to work.
Thank you Dr. Bartley, feeling groovy
So every summer I get cycle fever and want to buy one. This summer its even stronger because I could hypothetically budget one in. But I have many plans this summer. Jen will have the whole summer off and I will have flight benefits. I want to fly as much as possible. Also this summer could be the summer of change, if jen gets a job, we could move to colorado. Pretty scary to think, yet exciting. I am tired of the midwest but some of my closest companions are here. the tug and pull. I need some air. its not freezing today.

I just got back from a little trip to the magical east lansing,(flew into detroit this time instead of driving) and was super excited to have a surprise birthday party hosted by the lansing guys. After a little poker, beer, and pizza (key ingredients to a surprise birthday party) We went to kites house and a fluesy named rosie tried to sneek into my bed. She licked my face all night and tried to chew on my hand. Sean said she likes me, but she like anybody that pays attention to her. I really miss the guys in michigan, its always good to see them. I am so bad a staying up to-date with old friends, as I talked to kite we reminisced of old acquaintances from SIP and realised we dont even remember most of their names.
When I got home the freakin realtors canceled on our showing today, although I didnt do anything to prepare for the showing its still so frusterating. Selling a house sucks more everyday.
We made couscous salad for dinner and I ate jens and mine, now I think I will poop in the size of couscous.
In the spirit of lent I decided I didnt do anything bad enough to give up. After talking to Jen I realized I do engage in a lot of distracting activities that I should give up, so we came up with…
Alcohol, or T.V.
Alcohol stayed…
…and Lost and Heroes are on a great run right now so we gave up all tv, other than, Heroes, Lost, Greys Antonomy, and The Office. and we might sneak in simpsons.
Heck I am not even catholic, so whats the deal, why do I have to suffer.
*********Notes to make this blog make more or less sence*************
