here is the whole story of the truck.

last winter:.
knowing that Denver got a lot of snow and having 4X4 would be essential, I bought a 67 f-250 with 4×4, it was $650. I also had a jeep, but no 4X4, the transfer case was shot.

I found this truck on craigslist, and went to conifer to buy it.

a couple of months later:.
my jeep was in serious trouble. It needed about $1700 worth of work done to keep it working, not including what it would cost to fix the transfer case.

in a moment of genius we decided we should buy a vehicle that was reliable and had 4X4. So we did, we bought another truck. I like trucks i guess.

Present Day:.
I own a nice truck with all the trimmings and a old truck with lots of umm, character.
I also live in a new home, with no parking space for the old truck.
Now you might say, “cisco just sell the old truck.”
Oh that sounds simple, but the old truck has newer doors, the old doors were switched. the old doors also had the VIN number on them.
I went to the guy who switched the doors to get the VIN number off of them. He threw them away. He was trying to clean up the yard he said.
So now I own a old truck with no VIN number and no place to park it. I need to sell it, but have no VIN number.
Any Ideas?

Its been a real busy couple of weeks (its funny you dont hear a lot of people say they had a real boring couple of weeks, is it because we just are a busy culture, or we dont realize how much time we spend watching TV)

I have been doing a lot though. I went to Moab, Utah, and Amarillo, TX for work. I got to log time piloting a helicopter for the first time which was so hard and so fun. I also had my jeep brake on me and then did something that seemed even less possible than flying a helicopter I bought a new truck, I mean like less than 30,000 miles new. So my old ‘67 and the jeep need to be sold. Also I go to New Mexico this weekend for easter dinner with the folks. Then Monday I fly to amarillo again to work, but this time I get to take a Cessna. I get to fly myself. (as long as the weather is good) Pretty cool. So thats it.

PS I also watch a lot of movies.

I get really frustrated with the day light, it doesnt last long enough. I want to fix things on my truck and I cant because by the time I get home from work its getting dark. I think the days get longer soon.

Well when I bought the truck it had a couple of problems,

7. Dip stick is wrong type
8. Need to check oil

Now I am working on the ugly, I started to prime it, so it is 1/4 grey primer color. The dirty part of it will probably wait until i get the turn signals fixed, or until its totally primed. The rest will have to wait. When I get it all primed I will put up a new picture.

today I got my emissions test on the truck completed, and it passed…I also had my life threatened by the emissions guy if I was trying to screw him…he said he new ways to make me pay that the army taught him that I would never even know.

I just purchased a 1967 Ford, pickup and I am in the club. Its got a lot of use in its time and I am prepared to use it more. I am thinking of painting it but other than that I don’t think much else needs to be done, except a little cleaning of the interior.
